Antoni Gaudí i Cornet arrived on the planet, June 25th 1852. His unique style, blending his religious belief, catalanism and passion for nature, has made his creations some of the most recognisable in the world.
Barcelona/Gaudi, Gaudi/Barcelona, the two are now synonymous and you really have to see something of his when you visit the city.
You can see the most famous, along with thousands of other tourists, but it is still possible to enjoy some of his lesser known buidings and avoid the crowds altogether.
